The Corporal Daniel Bracken Rededication Ceremony was the 22nd and the final chapter in the four year Minnesota "Civil War Commemoration" sponsored by "The Governor's Civil War Commemoration Task Force". See website at www.mncivilwar150.com. The Minnesota State Historical Society and Randal Dietrich, Program Manager, were important to the success of the Sesquicentennial.

The rededication took place at the St. Anthony da Padua Cemetery, St. Anthony (Minneapolis), Minnesota, November 7, 2015. A special "thank you" is made to John Louris-Sexton Catholic Cemeteries for their assistance and in making this event possible.

Ken Flies, Chairman Soldier Recognition Committee, introduced the Rededication Ceremony, the speakers, and discussed the "History of the 10th MN and Battle of Nashville". Sister Linda Radtke from the St. Anthony da Padua Cemetery, presented the Invocation and Benediction, and an introductory history of the Cemetery, including some connections with Cpl. Bracken.

Mark Ritchie, Co-Chair Civil War Commemoration Task Force, presented the Governor's Committee Comments. Darryl Sannes presented a "Profile of Daniel Bracken".

The Ceremony included symbolic items placed on the Gravestone, the Benediction, the tune Amazing Grace played by Bagpiper Bill Schmidt, a rifle salute by the 1st Minnesota Reenactors, and Taps by Bugler Pvt. Bill Crowder.
